Public data and legal pages for the Wax Wishlist iOS app.
Last updated: April 19, 2026
Wax Wishlist collects no personal information. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
Nothing. Wax Wishlist has no account system, no sign-in, no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no crash-reporting SDKs that collect personal data, and no third-party trackers. We do not receive any data about you, your device, or how you use the app.
The app makes HTTPS requests to a publicly-accessible content delivery network to download:
Those requests disclose the information any HTTP server normally sees — your device’s public IP address and the name of the file being requested. That information is visible only to the content provider (GitHub, which hosts the public data files) and is governed by GitHub’s privacy statement. Wax Wishlist does not operate a server, does not log these requests, and does not receive any information about them.
Your wishlist, list ordering, and “found at store” outcomes are stored locally using Apple’s SwiftData framework. They remain on your device and are not transmitted to us or to any server by Wax Wishlist.
If you have iCloud Backup enabled for your iPhone, your on-device app data may be included in Apple’s iCloud backup of your device, subject to Apple’s privacy policy. You can disable this from iOS Settings. Wax Wishlist does not use iCloud sync directly.
Deleting the app removes all Wax Wishlist data from your device.
Wax Wishlist is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change and the updated version will appear at the same URL.
