Wax Wishlist collects nothing. Your wishlist, rankings and in-store results stay on your device.
This policy describes how Wax Wishlist (“the App”) handles information when you use it, on iPhone (from the App Store) and on Android (from Google Play). Wax Wishlist is developed and operated by mrBallistic (“we,” “us” or “our”).
We do not collect, store or share any personal data from you. Specifically:
The App has no account system and no sign-in.
To show each season’s releases, the App downloads the release list and album artwork over HTTPS from public data files hosted on GitHub. It does this when you check for updates, when you download a season, when artwork first appears on screen, and at most once a day when you open the App.
These are plain file downloads. Nothing about you or your wishlist is sent with them. Like any web server, GitHub’s servers see your device’s public IP address and the name of the file requested; that information is handled under GitHub’s privacy statement. We do not operate a server, and we never receive or log these requests.
Your wishlist, its order, and your Day-of results are stored only on your device so the App can show them to you. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the App removes this data.
If you have turned on your device’s own backup (iCloud Backup on iPhone, or backup to your Google account on Android), your device may include this data in its backup, so it can return when you restore or move to a new device. That backup is handled by your device’s platform under your account. We never receive it and cannot read it.
When you export or share your wishlist, the App creates the file on your device and hands it to the share option you choose. It goes only where you send it.

Because we do not use these services, they cannot collect any data about your use of the App through us.
On Android, a release can include a link to its official page. If you tap it, the page opens in your browser, and that website’s own privacy policy applies.
Because the App does not collect any personal data, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under the age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at mrballistic@gmail.com. However, in the normal use of the App, no data is sent to us at all.
Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is nothing for you to access, correct or delete. If you have questions about this policy, you can always contact us at mrballistic@gmail.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
This policy covers the App. The Wax Wishlist website (mrballistic.com/wax-wishlist) is separate: if you accept analytics cookies there, it uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. If you decline, Google’s code isn’t loaded at all and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page. Nothing from the App is ever sent to the website.
